I recently bought a condo in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico with the idea of renting it until my husband and I are ready to retire and move overthere. So I began my search for furniture, in May of this year, I contacted the website-based company www.ambienta.com Fernando Del Cueto Guerra, owner of this fraudulent company, agreed to design, make and deliver the furniture I ordered on the day of my arrival, on July 4th. I paid him the full amount of my order, over $5,000 prior to that date with the promise that he will have my order ready. Big mistake!! Please , do not make any business with this person or this company. You will be ripped off. He is a thief ! He only delivered a partial order! It's already November and this "charming" con artist Fernando Del Cueto Guerra has not only not delivered all what he was paid for, he also kept my key to enter my apartment and he refused to return it when he was asked to give it back. He blocked me from his phone so I can't contact him anymore and he also doesn't respond to emails . He owes me over $3,000 dollars worth in furniture and now he is hiding from me and screening phone calls so no one can contact him on my behalf. The reason why I trusted this person with my well earned money, and my keys was because he was referred to me by a realtor and a new friend of mine who happens to be his neighbor, they both live in Playacar. She unsuccessfully tried to talk to him and asked him to give me my key and a response to when / if he has the intention to return my money or to deliver the furniture. He is now hiding from her too! I had to change the lock of my door, and I am thinking of hiring a lawyer to submit a civil lawsuit against him . Beware of him and any of his companies. He seems to operate more than one company, I believe he also has done some businesses under Wodbox And Cross Fit company.
I was introduced to Fernando Del Cueto Guerra by a realtor, who recommended me his services of custom design furniture for my new condo in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I ordered over $5,000 dolars in furniture.
He first asked my a deposit of 50%, but just before the date due for delivery he askked me the rest of the money with the promise that everything will be finished and deliver in my home by my arrival. This was on July 4th. This "thief" only delivered less than half of what I have ordered. The rest never came....he took advantage that I do not live in Mexico, he stopped answering my calls and emails. He took my money and never even apologized for the delay, he simply stopped all communication with me and even with the realtor who was supposed to be his friend! I filed a complain in PROFECO, but I am not sure what the results will be of this ordeal.
