Alucia Skin Reviews

  • Aug 14, 2017

I thought I was getting a free sample of a product called alucia. Turns out that it's not a free sample it's actually the full product and you're signing up for a trial. When I discovered the charge to my credit card am I tried to call to cancel they charged me full price for the "sample". They said that I received the full product so they only refunded me 30% back which was $34 out of $98. I told them I had an allergic reaction to the product and could return most of it to them for a full refund but they said they cannot take open products. They also sent a another product along with it that I never even asked for. I was able to get the charge for that removed but that was another $89. For the alucia they would not give me the full refund even though I could return most of the product unused . This is a total scam and they are making tons of money off of it! As you can see I'm not the only complaint on here and I'm sure there's a lot more people that don't bother to complain they just accept it. My credit card company did try to help me and they called with me to talk to a representative at alucia but were unable to get me a full refund. In a way I feel that this is useless and that nothing is going to be done even by me posting here but I at least have to say I tried and just maybe it'll stop one person from buying from them!

I responded to an add for a free or low cost trial of an anti wrinkle cream. It was supposed to be about $4.99 for the trial. I read thouroughly all the fine print, not wanting to get stuck in some continued shipping of the product. No where did it state what the person on the phone stated. I noticed i had a charge of $98.39 on my bank account I called and was told that i signed up for this. In the fine print i was told, i signed saying if i didnt cancel within 14 days i would be billed the $98 for my sample that i already had.

Totally deceptive, i never had that on my form. Also you have no choice but to get the eye cream and some book, which never did arrive. I think the total ended up being around $11.

I saw dr oz and wanted to try product. I found website paid s/h on both products that really went together. No where on website or emails did it say the 14 days started when you ordered it. I ordered it on 6/10/17, received it on 6/16, started using it on 6/17, it irritated my eyes (used for 4 days) going to send back before 14 days. Looked at my charge acct and was charged for both products on the 6/24 over $188. No where did I see how much the product was, no addresses or anything. I called, they told me I went over 14 days, so misleading. I sent back products on 6/28, they received it on 6/30, I have heard nothing, won't respond to emails and haven't credit my acct. expensive lesson learned. A very misleading ad. Thank you

I was on facebook. I saw the ad for the facecream. It was for a sample jar for free but you had to pay for shipping. I gave them my credit card. Then my phone went crazy. Now it charged me for eye cream too. I said to myself I'll pay for shipping for that too. I pushed another button to finish my order then the phone went crazy again and I was not able to read anything. It did not give me chance to read anything about so many days then you would be charged $200.00

I called the company when I was charged $200.00 on my bank account. I told them I never saw anything where I was supposed to call them if I didn't want product. She said it was right on the screen and I told her it was not there. She said I can't get my money back but she could cancel any future orders. I told her I only wanted the sample and I didn't want anything else. So she canceled all future orders.

I never received the order I had to pay for. They should at least send what you had to pay for.

In February this year, I saw an ad for a Free Trial Offer for Alucia Anti-Aging Skin Care Cream on my phone (MetroZone on Metro PCS). It said for $4.99 you get a free sample of the cream. It had a video showing fantastic results. I thought, why not? And ordered it. I SHOULD have checked this company out first. If I had, I would have seen many complaints about this "Free Trial" on the Better Business Bureau website and many other forums. All have the same complaint- they present a supposely free trial offer for shipping only, then charge your card for $93 or more, and unless you stop them they will do it every month for the "subscription" you "agreed" to. All of the complaints said that the "Terms and Conditions" they supposedly agreed to never showed up on the order form or the screen and were never seen by them. As a note my receipt I got after the purchase said I was charged $4.99, with no mention of further charges to be made. The small jar when it came had no receipt - a red flag right there. When I got the charge on my card, I called the company to have the charges reversed. They were old hands at this.

The first two customer service people pretended they could not find my account, could not hear me, etc etc and then hung up on me. The third one refused to refund, and said I had agreed to the terms so would not be getting a refund. Explaining to her that I had never SEEN these terms did nothing. So I called my credit card company and they reversed the charges pending investigation. This Alucia company then sent FAKE documents to my credit card company as "proof" I had agree to the terms. These were just blank forms ( that I had never seen) with my name typed in above BY THEM. The "I agree to Terms" box was not even checked on their fake documents! And one was fro someone else's order made over a year before the order I made! Anyway since they had now presented "proof" to the company my charge reversal was then denied. Luckily I had saved all the paperwork, emails, etc and sent in a 15 page report on what they did. As I have very good credit with my credit card company I queried it again and they refunded my money, but they basically just absorbed the cost as Alucia never gave any refund. Also, the cream did not even work, my skin did not improve at all and I stopped using it after a week due to no results. My $9 skin cream I get from Target works just as well.

Product is a total scam and charges were very deceptive. Representative rude and billigerent. Takes your money and charges ridiculous shipping, processing and handling fees.

  • May 16, 2017

When trying to order a 14-day sample of Alucia anti-wrinkle complex, there was no way to get off of the order page except to enter "continue". Upon doing that it automatically adds other products to your order. When calling about this, was told to contact them within 14 days or else auto ship would be continued. There was no option to do an auto ship. The person on the phone said the cost would be $98.39.

When I called to cancel the auto ship, was told to either send my 14 day supply back (which I had paid for) or get charged almost $10 more to keep it. They had no record of the other two products that were shipped with the Alucia. Said they must belong to another company. Not correct, since it came off of the same order blank and I had confirming emails from the same company. The representative on the phone was very hateful and rude. No reason for her to not be helpful. This is a huge rip off and everyone needs to be aware of it.

I ordered a sample of the Alucia Anti-Wrinkle Complex and Luminella Intensive Eye Serum in which I agreed to pay the shipping charges of $5.99 period. Then seven days later a charge was made to my credit card for $98.34. I then called the phone number that was submitted to my bank along with the charge to my account to inquire. I demanded a refund because I did not authorize the transaction and I had to make a cancellation so that they would not ship the product. The product had not shipped, but I was charged a restock fee of $10.00. The total refund to my account after 3 days was $88.34. After receiving this refund, a few days later another charge is made to my credit card for $66.80. So I repeat the process again of contacting the company.

  • May 3, 2017

Ordered my as stated on the website "risk free trial" of Alucia Skin Care, later to find it was as a scam where they continually send unwanted product and charge your credit card. I never ordered the eye cream, yet it was sent. When speaking with Casey the representative, I questioned how another rep could first offer a 30% discount then 50% to keep the product he said it would be cheaper that way. He said the no where on the website did it say "Risk Free" and that must not be their site even though I had it up as I was speaking with him.

This company is scam and not ethical - stay away. I will be contacting the CA-BBB and CA Atty. General general about their practices as I have them on recording making the above statements.

  • Apr 27, 2017

Ordered a simple sample to try, then got another sample (yes the same amount) that I did not order. I sent back with note saying I did not order and want a refund, received another sample box, looked at credit card and it is charged for each product totaling $187 + $187 =$374.92. I have not been credited back my first return. I do not want to cancel my cc but I will...I should of known better! Sadly, I will never order from anyone. I don't want this product, even if it did work, I would not spend that kind of money on the littlest amount that is given.

First saw the ad on Facebook for Alucia Free sample for cost of shipping for $4.95, gave them all my info then they added eye cream for another $4.95, tried to stop the eye cream but would not let me. Recieved the items, checked the box to see what was there then put it aside. Eight days later recieved notification from my bank that I was overdrawn (when you are living on SSA $640. per month) I was in shock. Got the box out and checked the paperwork and no where did it say I would be charged another $90.00 if I didn't call them back within 14 days. I called the Company and was informed them that when I checked the box saying I was over 18, actually I'm over 76, it gave them permission to charge me. If anyone wants to fight this will do all I can to help.

I purchased a 14 day trial then cancelled my product before the 14 days, I was charged $39.99 2 days after I cancelled. I have been fighting with my bank regarding this. I have emails showing my confirmation of cancellation from the company yet am still being charged.

This company is worthless and wants money, they deducted a reoccuring fee for something I did not even ask for. Yet, they claim that the charge is valid, how so? I have proof from them showing my product was cancelled yet still being charged?

  • Mar 21, 2017

There was a misleading advertisement for the eye product. I ordered the sample and was charged full price! 98.39 plus 4.99 for shipping. I called and waited 55 minutes on hold! The customer service was a joke! He didn't believe me when I said it didn't work, and told me it would take 2-3 weeks for the refund!

  • Mar 14, 2017

I want my money back, I have the product unopened in original package . I will send it back as soon as I hear from them.

  • Mar 9, 2017

Ordered a free 14 day trial sample of face cream, only $4.99 shipping on January 30th, received small jar on Feb 5th. I used it and it had cheap ingredients and was drying to my skin. I got my credit card bill today and found the shipping charge on it and on Feb 14th a charge was added for $98.39. I called them and she said that I had signed up for a member ship that could only be cancelled in the first 14 days, I agreed to pay the monthly charge and pay for the tiny sample I received. I usually read the first E print pretty closely so it must be well hidden. The woman whose English was poor did not listen, was rude and told me that I had agreed and needed to pay the full amount. After about 25 minutes of getting nowhere she did say that my membership would be canceled. OK but where's my $98.39 cents that I was scammed out of? She said she could give me 35% off my membership I didn't even want. After asking several times she finally said she could give me a 50% refund on my product. Still not happy that these people get away with this and will call my credit card company tomorrow. I want the rest of my money back for this sample I was supposed to get for shipping only.

  • Mar 9, 2017

This is definately a scam. Please do not fall for the Free Trial of the eye serum or the Alucia Cream. It is not free.

I requested trial samples for just trying and paying the shippiing. I was charged $89.07 for Lum Eye Syrum and $98.39 for Alucia Skin cream. I did not order full size of product. Did try the free trial. I did not notice any benefit.

When calling them and trying to address this, all they do is say you agreed to the terms. Which I did not. I read terms. Only question they asked was am 18 years old. And they won't give you a refund.

They will cancel your subscription but they get away with the first time billing. They refuse to refund charges which I did not authorize. Nothing my bank can do to recover the unauthorized charges. Because I apparently checked the little box for terms and conditions. I was able to cancel the supposed subscription. But not able to retrieve unauthorized funds.

This is an unethical company.

I saw an ad to try this skin care and eye serum for the cost of postage. Nowhere in the ad did it say it was a 14 day trial and that I would be charged over 180 dollars for such small bottles of stuff that i received. When i received the trial bottles i assumed that because of the small amounts in them I would have the option of buying more if interested or at least cancelling the order if they were gonna send a monthly supply.

When the package came it came without any details of the company or paperwork. It did not have a paper saying if you are not satisfied please return before 14 days or you will pay 180 dollars for a .05 oz bottle of eye serum and a .05 jar of skin anti wrinkle complex.

I called the company and they were less then helpful.

  • Feb 22, 2017

Ordered the trial size for cheap, then have been trying to cancel. They billed my card a higher amount than the trial.

SCAM: no customer service or direct phone.

  • Feb 20, 2017

As you can see, this is the 5th report on this company! What the other women said is all true. No where on the website, page or ad does it say that there is a 14 day trial period. It says, "order your trial here" for only $4.95. You add your info & enter, it takes you to the credit card page. You enter that info & it says, "order the eye serum also for only $4.95. I clidked No but it was added anyway so I thought since it's only $4.95 ea I'll try it. When your order is finished there is still nothing stating a 14 day trial or the additional charges they will add. I was not billed the $4.95 but I was billed $98.39 for the wrinkle cream & $89.07 for the eye serum! Almost $200 for what???? I would never have agreed to this amount. Neither is worth that much money! I called & was told about the 14 day trial which I also told them there was nothing about that on the site. I was told that I had agreed to that by purchasing the samples.

The guy asked me if I had opened the bottles? I said, "Well, of course, how would I use them if I didn't open the bottles"? I said, "Does that make sense to you?" Of course that went right over his head! He told me their warehouse would not take back any opened bottles! This is an obvious scam & these people are making a lot of money when they charge each person $200!!!

This company is a total scam operation. They offer free trial sample for $4.99 shipping - just to get your credit card number to start charging you $98 per month as a subscription--but additional product never arrives. Had to cancel through my bank but the company never responded. Real scam to ship a dime size amount of cream and then charge you almost $100 for it. Nothing in the trial order stated a subscription. Do not fall for this

I first complained about this company in early November to the BCA (Business Consumer Alliance) regarding the way they were handling a refund that I wanted. Anyway I first seen this ad on an artcle I was reading about Anjolie Pitt, also thought it was her new company, anyway so I read the page where they were advertising this skin care product at a very reasonable price, now mind you this isn't my first rodeo and have ordered and got in trouble for not reading ine print (paid out of pocket) so I was very careful and looked it over very well, thr was no place saying it was a trial offer, no boxes to check, etc. So I ordered the product fo 4.99 shipping fee only. Went about my business then about 2 weeks later seen a huge amount taken out of my account, looked into it further and found out it was this same company charging me almost $200 for the "free" product I had received, I was not only in shock, but also intears as I am on SSI and couldn't afford that kind of monies being taken from my acct. So I immediately asked the company and compained, I was told that since I had ckecked the box saying it was a 14 day trial and that I didn't cance before the 14 days were up I was liable, but that they could let me keep the product and send me more at a much lower pprice, I told them about me being on SSI and couldn't afford it, the person couldn't have cared less, and was rude, more or less told me, to bad! Well that got me really riled up so I looked around on the web and found BCA, complained, got an answer back from them, they in turn got in touch with ALucia, and I got mt refund back, all of it! There was no box to check when I sent for this, however when I went back there sure was, many complaints from many peole who were ripped off at th folowing web site: https://supplementpolice.com/alucia-skin/#comment-25393, Thanks, Linda

Products mailed for a 14 day trial then two charges appeared on credit card of 89.07 and 98.39. I received products I did not order but then could not get an answer on the phone to cancel the order or get a refund on the products. The automated message says to wait for a representative but after waiting 30 plus minites i hung up and called a second number with exactly the same result. I downloaded the terms info which states I must have an RMA number from them to even think about getting any action on a return.

How can I posibly get any correction for this situation if they cannot be contacted. How can I possiblly stop the repeated mailings. The charges will be stopped on the credit card, but I want a refund of the current charges also. As an elderly person with limited income I cannot pay these kinds of charges.

  • Feb 7, 2017

Alucia skin offered a free trial, all you had to do was pay shipping. there was nothing else on there. i paid the shipping and 2 weeks later they charged my account $100.

this was an unauthorized transaction. i called them and they would not give my money back.

this is fraud, they need to be stoped.

their product is not worth even the $5. shipping!!!

  • Feb 6, 2017

I ordered Alucia on line on 12/19/17. When I received the Alucia on 12/22/16, I used it once and I broke out. I called the company and told them what happened; they said I would be charged 49.95 because I had opened the container. I agreed to that.

Now they have charged me $89.98 on Jan 5 and Feb 3. Have called and they told me they have cancelled my order but they are still billing me.

  • Jan 31, 2017

I saw an ad for a 14 day free trial and to only pay shipping which was 4.99, I did two different products they had, I was charged 4.99 each on Jan 16th 2017, Now on the 30th of January they pulled out 89.07 and 98.39 from my account which totals 187.46. So in other words they ripped me. I only ordered the trial products. I am in the process of calling them to get my money back and get out of their system. We will see, also I am going to the bank to have them reported. On the trial ad it does not say anything about joining. But if you go on the original web site it says you will be charged every month. Please put the word out about this company. I will keep you updated.

They took out my check account 2 time . I look not right. Not suppose to touch my check account out

I fell for the Alucia skin cream scam on the Dr Oz show. Nowhere on the website 8 could find the disclaimer that there was a 14 day free trial and the $91 charge for the cream and the subsequent monthly shipments. Called the 800 # and some guy named Bernard insulted me telling me that I was stupid for not being able to find the small print. He then insinuated that I was lying about it. I was able to cancel any further shipments but stuck for $97 for some worthless crap. With enough complaints against this low rent company hopefully they will cease to exist and not be able to rip off anyone else. Thanks for letting me vent my frustrations. Dr Bob

When I saw a 14 day free trial for skin care I read every last word on the web page. Only question they asked was am I 18 years old. It turns out, by clicking that you are agreeing to terms and conditions that are not given to you. They then charge you almost $200 for the free product and put you on a mailer to receive products monthly that your never signed up for. When calling them and trying to address this, all they do is say you agreed to the terms. Which I did not. And they won't give you a refund. They will cancel your subscription but they get away with the first time billing. Even my bank flagged them because they were the ones who asked if I authorized the charge. They are a scam. Do not buy from this company.
