Ally Financial Redemption Center Address

Our vehicle was repossessed, and the "awesome" folks at Ally told us to get our car back they would only accept payment by moneygram or western union.

This is false, and after quoting the section of MD law that requires them to give me an address for payment (most states require this) they finally coughed up the goods, which I will now be sharing as widely as possible.

Crooked Ally!

They repoed vehicle jus a day ago! And Ally didn't send letters or phone contact for several months and we'd jus made a payment Jan 5,2020 ! They claiming letter was sent...they have my email address and all! Never received nothing!! Now,my disabled tag; daughters and self medicine is in the vehicle;jackets, personal information and all!! Sentimental things from deceased step father is in there and ect!! They won't say where car is and all! But they want three times the money back before we can find out where it is and all!! Then we'd been calling redemption jacked up Dept! They gave us another number that's supposed to be towing! Then that number says no,call Ally back! What the hell!! What is the MD law?? please!

Repoed my car too, with no written warnings, calls, email, etc.

They are the worst finance company I have ever worked with.

Made makeup payment in December 2018 of $250.00, missed January.

Went out at 5AM, this morning and car was gone - called them and they transferred me to redemption dept.

I was told to call back in 3-4 hours as they did not have any further info yet, except for the repo..

If anyone needs the CORRECT number for this dept., it is 1-877-845-8862.

HORRIBLE COMPANY !!!!!

Also, they could use some agents who can speak English properly.

If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TGIS COMPANY. We have been customers of Ally for 10 or more years. We just returned a leased Cadillac that we had for 39 months and paid on time or early every year. We paid almost $1,000 for excess wear and tear insurance. The car was returned with LESS THAN 13,000 miles!!!! It was driven by my 73 year old husband and very well taken care of. Much to our surprise 2 weeks AFTER we returned the car we are sent a bill for $264.83 with no explanation. I have called over 6 times and they always say "someone will review it". That the reason for the charge is that the car has a "bad spray job" under the front bumper!!! WE HAVE NEVER HAD THE BUMPER REPAIRED!!!!! This is elder abuse and taking advantage of decent people with excellent credit. They threaten to ruin our credit which is now at 850! This is complete blackmail and highway robbery. There are hundreds of complaints for the same tactics . I am not stopping here.

I financed a car through Ally in August 2015. Sent my first payment in September 2015. Received call from Ally stating they had not received my payment. Checked the status of my money order and it had been cashed. Called Ally back and told them that the money order had been cashed. After being on hold for over an hour, Ally told me that they did receive the payment, but since I failed to put an account number on it, the payment would not be applied to my account but to an unidentified account. After speaking to a supervisor, I was told that the payment would be applied to my account. For my October payment, I made an automatic payment via debit card. At this time, I also enrolled in automatic payments to avoid any confusion that would occur. My next payment was taken out of my account well after the due date and I was charged a late fee for the previous 3 months even though I was enrolled in automatic payments. In December, i tried to access my online account and was locked out. I called Ally and was told I was locked out because of late fees. A couple of days later, a tow truck showed up to repo my vehicle. I called Ally and was told that I was 2.5 months behind on my loan. That was a complete lie because I was 4 months into my loan and had already made 3 payments, with the 4th payment scheduled to come out with automatic withdrawl. After being transferred to a different CSR, I was told that I had not made a payment in 2 months. WRONG!! I explained that I had email messages confirming that my payments had been made. Apparently the first payment that I mailed in still hadnt got applied to mu account, even though I have the money order receipt and the money order had been cashed. I called Ally's redemption center and was told that I would have to pay $1300 to get my car back. A bunch of BS. I am filing a lawsuit against Ally. They cheat people out of their money by charging unexplainable late fees. I pulled a copy of my credit report, the same day of repossession, and Ally had reported that I had made three on time payments. I wish I would've done my research on this company before I signed my signature.

I financed a vehicle through Ally Auto. Worst mistake of my life and here is why. Ally Auto indicated to my that they would refinance my outrageously high intrest rate of 17% after i made my first 3 timley payments this was an outright lie. Then the vehcile i was sold was a a lemon i notifed Ally to not realse funds to the dealer but they did.

Then they destroyed my credit when i refused to make payments until they made good on thier promise. This instituion targets impvivershied diverse communites who do not understand creidt and financing they abuse and rape these communites of thier hard earned money. Countless calls and arguments have led nowhere they are useless. BOYCOTT ALLY

THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN! Fix it!!!!

I have spent, collectively, 7 hours on the phone waiting on hold between today (Monday) and the weekend days (Saturday and Sunday). My car was repoed, I paid for the entire (not only the past due) payoff balance in full 3 days ago. I cannot reach ANYONE who can help. I finally pushed a button to just speak to a regular operator (not the redemption center) this morning. She has been kind, I think she is frustrated too because now she has been on hold WAITING for the redemption center to answer while I hold with her. I'm doing this instead of continuing to call the redemption center directly because when I spent the other 5 hours over the last 2 days on hold waiting for them, around 33 minutes into holding it says "We're sorry for the delay, please try again later" and it HANGS UP! This is the most frustrating experience I've ever had to deal with and everyone who is in charge at Ally's "redemption center" should be fired. Thank god the car is paid off and I never ever ever ever ever have to do business with this awful company again. I'm still on hold. It's been 1:53:43 so far today. Obnoxious.

Bad bad customer rep

These people. Yes I know I was behind on my car payments. But I did call, and talk to someone in customer service last month because I'm currently a full time student so I'm not flushed with cash and couldn't get a summer loan through my school. After explaining to her that I will be able to pay small amounts through the summer, and I'll be able to pay in full what I'm behind on in the beginning of October once my loan disperses to me. She said that she would put a note into my account that she was working with me and that I would be good as long as I could keep paying even a little and then pay in full when I got my loan money. This was 5 weeks ago now. In 13 days I get my disbursement. Today my car got repoed. I called ally and of course they told me there was absolutely nothing they could do as my account was no longer with them but now in reparations. And of course there was no note in my account or record even of my talking with any of their agents. I haven't gotten any phone calls, and the only mail I've gotten has been emails reminding me of payment dates. At this point, I only have until next July before the car is completely paid off. Why in the heck would an agent tell me they would work with me, and then turn around and not actually be working with me?

Repped Car after. Saying they were not

I was behind d 3pymts.because I was injured at work and was out for a whole month. Tried to explain situation they didn't give a crap.Called and told me if I made a payment they wouldn't get.Did that and 2 days later they repoed.Have called redemption center just keep putting on hold and never answer.Do they do this so they can collect more money.WIRST COMPANY EVER. NEVER USE THEM !!!TOTAL ASSHOLES

So, I'm 21 in school with 3 different jobs, I'm on my own I have no kind of help. Here recently I moved from my home town to San Marcos for school, I got behind on some payments due to not working I just got hired a full time job and have tried to cach back up so i sent in a payment wasn't enough I talked to a lady named Addy Chavez.

We disgussed what happened and why I fell behind she told if I were to make a payment of 608 by the end of the day yesterday she would close out the repossession they have out on my car, so I used my rent money to make the payment so I wouldn't get my car towed. When I made that payment another man told me she had been wrong there would be no repossession cancelation so I woke up with morning to my car gone, and now no vehicle to get to work and no money to pay my rent.

a student who made arrangements and still got repo'd

this happened to me too. made an arrangement bc I just got out of grad school fulltime. talked to someone in early december, woke up today and my car was gone. no way to get to work.
