Allied Universal Security Services Reviews

In September 2017 they were found guilty of negligence their officers at the UPS facility in San Francisco CA. allowed the supsect in the UPS incident to walk right thru the checkpoint and beep off. Also they allowed management to bring firearms on site when employees reported it to them they were aware of the no firearms on property but they failed to enforce the policy's and rules. The incident could of been avoided but no allied universal had to do dirty deeds and boom now people suffered. They are an severe safety Risk and needs to be closed down asap.

Allied Universal Security, formerly Universal Protection, different name same people are pure law breakers. The management is so corrupt and scandolous to a point where they are just down right repugnunt. In 2016 AUS bought out ABM my former employer including the accounts I use to work at as a security officer with ABM. one day in 2016 I went to visit my old site in Seattle and was illegally trespassed from the site by the current sup for no reason other than racial. AUS did no investigation, but protected the sup in his lies. But the DAR/ IR are the tell all instruments of the trade, be they lies or the truth. I went to the union seiu local 6 with my complaint against the company.

The union SIC SOBS attempted to sit on their hands and do nothing hoping that the statute of limitations would expire on my claim against AUS thus rendering my complaint null and void against AUS. I even reported to the union that AUS was not paying me the minimum call amount of pay per the union contract agreement. Sic SOBS did nothing about it. If the S/O s were to not tolerate this type of scrap then AUS would stop their BS. Not only was I racially profiled by the sup, but my character was defamed as well by the sup and the other officers whom harassed me at the job site. The WSHRC is currently investigating the crooks, and will most likely uncover all kinds of corruption surrounding this company.

My friend was employed by this monster for a month before they falsely accused him of sleeping and not doing his job, on the swing shift mind you in full view of the cameras, give me a break. This guy has has been in the security field for more than 10 yrs, and is a senior computer science major at the University Of Washington. This guy and myself top notch officers all the way. I hope and pray that a class action law suite gets launched against this monster real soon, and maybe, just maybe, this monster will be brought down to it's belly. If the officers continue to be weak and scared for their job, which means just over broke according to the author of the book rich dad poor dad. Me, I can't wait for my day in court, so that the chips can fall where they may. If you work for AUS, you better watch your back.

Allied Universal has increasingly went down hill. The current manager that we deal with on a day to day basis is very incompetent. It was bad enough when she was the recruiter/trainer, and now she is the operations manager that sits in the office doing nothing except when she goes out to smoke or email/call to yell at people.

Any time there is a call off she doesn't attempt to fill the positions with someone, she calls the supervisor and force her or the only other person who shows up for work and does their job. She claims she doesn't have anyone to help with the open shifts because someone called off, or she pulls them to work another site. She called to speak with my supervisor one day she called the client's phone and I answered the phone, she started yelling and cussing at me thinking I was the supervisor that she was looking for.

We have people at the site that doesn't do their job, for example patrolling the facility, or watching the cameras, etc.

We have people who shows up late on a daily basis or no call no shows, yet she will let them get a way with it. We have employees who are rude to the client's employees, stealing from the client, late for work but lying on their timesheets causing the client to be billed for hours not covered. These same employees will get days off without question, but my supervisor, another employee, and myself has trouble getting days off.

I can see us losing the account because of all the issues we are having. There use to be someone who came out and completed inspections on the employees at random times, that hasn't happened in quite some time. I don't know what happened at that office but for the past couple of years support has went down hill.

We have had payroll issues, myself and numerous employees have been short on our pay, sometimes the overtime and sometimes both over time and regular hours. 2 of us has worked numerous 16 hour shifts because the manager pulled the next shift's officer to fill an opening at another site and we won't find out until its too late.

We are thinking about quitting and watching Allied Universal lose the account and then we will come back with the new security company.

Allied-Universal Security hired me as an expierenced officer. Training for two days, training hours 6 at 7.25 hrly. During class pay schedule was given to new hires, and stressed to us not to call and ask when is payday, that we had the info, and that we would be paid the following Thrusday. I got that, I understand. Wow, first, the shift I was hired for , was not where I got posted, half of the hours promised, the employee was not terminated as discussed in my interview. I fluctuated, that's TWO empty options presented by the company. Payday , NO PAYCHECK issued to me per company, I phone, explain money needed I worked please cut me a live check for hours I will travel 54 miles, one way... the response"We can just put it on next week's check." Okay, employees are an inconvience, and work to have a place to hang out? HA,HA,HA-third pay week, today....My check short still not near amount owed to me, and yes, "we can just put it on next week's check." Since this company finds paying me for performing duties required, a vast inconvenience, I find that it is a terrible waste of my time to remain employed with Allied Universal Security.
