I took out a payday loan like we all do every now and again. Nothing from another planet, right? Well I had Nadine the Maanager at Allied Cash Advance on Carey Road, Westfield Indiana, try to prove this wrong.

It was the first time I had taken out a payday loan I went and met with the customer service person there who was, on the contrary, quite helpful. She explained the process, completed everything and I had a prepaid card witht the loan funds loaded onto it shortly after. She explained that the loan would be due on my next pay date although it showed due two days before. She said that I was to write a check that would take two days to clear so that the loan would be paid on time.

Today, three days before the loan payment is due I went into the store and met the "Manager, Nadine". Should I say monster. Her first approach as I enetered the store was basically "what do you want you broke idiot". No greeting or anything. I said to her that I wanted to confirm that my loan was due in three days and confirm that I would be paying for it with a check tomorrow. I also explained that her colleague said this was ok. Nadine goes off about the fact that she was the manager, she was there and the loan was due tomorrow. I asked her why she was so rude to me and would not even allow me to explain what was already agreed with her colleague. In my mind if she had doubts about anything she should have called that colleague to find out what was agreed. Instead she continues with "I don't care you broke fool" attitude and then pulls out the contract, which I know says the loan was due in two days.

I walked out of the store and complained to her about her repugnant attitude and I told her that not everyone that wants a payday loan is a dog like she tried to treat me. I explained that I paid $76 in interest as a customer and was entitled to customer service And not just because someone needs to get a loan makes them a poor needy person. Nadine somehow feels this way about payday loan customers and thinks she should treat you like an animal becuase you choose to take out a payday loan.

After walking out of the store, I called back to ask to speak with the customer service rep that had helped me first. Nadine answers the phone ina rude and derrogatory tone. She then confirms that she contacted the customer service rep I dealt with first and confirmed the agreement that I was to pay the loan with a check tomorrow two days before my pay date. Just what I had been trying to explain to Nadine but couldn't because of her derrogatory attitude. Nadine makes no apology.

Whether Nadine owns or manages Alllied Cash Advance, just because someone needs a pay day loan does not give her the right to treat them like an animal. The payday loan is a service that I paid for, $76. I am a customer. Nadine is not doing me a favor. It equates to customer service. I would not recommend dealing with Nadine at Allied Cash Advance since she thinks that people getting payday loans are nobodies, when she is the barbarian that does not know what customer service is.
