Alliance Security Reviews

  • May 8, 2018

I really dont know where to start with this review. Other than to say, STAY AWAY from any and all businesses that Faustino Moronta, Jr. has to do with.

March 20, 2018 Moronta came to our home and sold us a four (4) camera, 2 TB home security outdoor camera package. On March 27, 2018 at 0944 began the install. The install went everywhere but good, The installer disappeared for two hours, told me two different stories, one to go home to wife, the other to Home Depot to get filler for holes he put in the ceiling and walls. He finally left at 9:00 pm.

Then the real problems started, the system he brought (after I did some checking) was a 1TB not 2TB as was in the written proposal. The system would not work with T-Mobile phones, so they said after connecting the system to 200AV power-line adapters he had to use.

03.30.18 at 5:35 pm. the installer returned with a different Manufacturer DVR, this time a 2TB HD three (3) days after he started the install. We had NO cell phone connections, only in-house, sometimes. The system kept dropping out, "Network Connection Failure", "Device offline."

We are supposed to have a 3 year warranty with this install and system. The system was down for ten (10) days before Marx the installer arrived. There was NO contacting Faustino. He would not answer his phone, never returned my messages, texts. The is an ongoing issue with Faustino even at this writing. He will turn his phone off hoping the problems will fix themselves. He has "No sense of urgency."

The installer said after 30 days he will not come out unless contacted by Faustino. How can that happen when Faustino is not answering calls?

There is so much more you would not believe. Just stay way from Faustino Moronta, Jr.

He uses so many different alleged company names, and he will NOT provide me with a contractor License number under which he does business. He is not listed under the State or County systems.

Here is a list of companies he uses that are bogus, AKA : Alliance Security ; Moni Smart Home (They never heard of him) ; iprotectmyhome.com ; Florida Protect us, LLC. The address he uses is a single family residence. Toll Free number, 888.962.7775 disconnected.

There is so much more to add, Texts, emails, but you pretty much get the gist of this guy.

I have a defective key pad and the smoke alarm failed its test. Their local rep said the contract would e cancelled. This has not happened. I wrote to the address in my contract. The mail came back unable to forward.

I have been receiving numerous unsolicited calls from a "robo-dialer" from Alliance Security for the past 9-12 months, often 2-3 per day, almost always from different phone numbers. It is usually the same approach where a phony recorded voice comes on and introduces themselves and says that I've qualified for a free home security installation. If you press whatever number it will connect you with their "Sales Team" where you actually talk with someone, almost always someone with a heavy Indian accent with a BS name like "Steve."

After trying to have the calls blocked and making sure I am on the Do Not Call List, the calls kept coming. I often have to answer them because I have clients all over the country and some of the area codes match where they live. They give an option to "Add this number to a list to not contact you," or something similar, but then they just call from a different number.

Anyway, I finally was able to go through the process of actually setting up an appointment, which has not happened yet. They are supposedly sending a technician to my house to install this security system. I have contacted my local police department and the state attorney general, but unfortunately there isn't much they can do. I can have the police remove him from my property, but he hasn't broken any laws because I technically invited him.

My plan is to waste as much of this person's time as is humanly possible. Long story short, these people are awful and are just harassing people. The owner of the company is a dirtbag named Jay Gotra and there are numerous complaints and even a lawsuit against him. I plan to do no business with them, of course, and would love to do far more than just waste his time.

I can only imagine what these dirtbags would do if someone actually buys anything from them or gives them any personal information. I plan to do everything I can locally to make it known how they do business and try to hurt their business every way I can.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

NOT WORTH THE STRESS! I have never been so frustrated over something that should offer me piece of mind. I have had an account with Alliance security for sometime now and have been having nothing but the hardest time. Every time you call its a 30 + minute wait for any assistance unless you want to open an account with them (ironic). I have been trying to get a technician out to us for Months now and i am not exaggerating and have been only hitting dead ends. Today i had scheduled yet another appointment and much to my dismay the technician did not show up. No phone call was made i had to call out of work for nothing. I began calling Alliance technical support and they are the rudest / most uninformed people i have ever dealt with in my life. They would hang up mid conversation. Gave me extension numbers to reach them out personally and i say THEM because it was 4 different technical support associate that i spoke to in one day and i got nowhere. They give you their extensions but when you call back they dont answer. They dont call back when they say they will. Not only is communication with this company so impossible but when you do finally get a hold of someone their lack of professional communication amongst themselves is so off that you get NOWHERE. I dont know why i have been having such a hard time i envy those who are happy with this company because im at the point where i have ORDERED the system and monitors with cameras and sensors to all be removed from my home. Im done GOOD LUCK to whoever reads this and decides to go through with them.

According to the FTC, Versatile Marketing Solutions (VMS), under the guidance of its owner, Jasjit Gotra, called millions of consumers whose names and phone numbers VMS bought from lead generators. The lead generators claimed that those consumers had given VMS permission to contact them about the installation of a free home security system, but in reality, they had not. In its complaint, the FTC alleges that the defendants’ tactics violated the Commission’s Telemarketing Sales Rule.

They are still doing it, I acted like I wanted the product after like the 50th phone call, no exageration at least 50 phone calls despite being on the Do Not Call List.

I got a call back from 561 666 3990 and unlike the never ending harrassing phone calls from all different numbers they use with that call ID trickery when I am at work and have to put down my tools to get the phone, that 561 number you can call back.

That number lead to "Alliance Security" the same telphone system and menu that picks up when you call the number on the website.

I made a complaint here

Do Not Call Complaints - National Do Not Call Registry

Karma will come to these people, it will. You can't behave this way, harrass thousands of people a day and expect any other result.

This company has repeatedly called my cell phone with recorded calls. I would immediately hang up and try to call back, but the number was "not a working number".

If I stay on the line I can get a foreign individual who almost speaks English. I did this multiple times, telling the individual that my phone is listed on the Do Not Call list and to please stop calling me.

That didn't work so I acted interested in their free home alarm system, which was marketed to me as a prize for being willing to put one of their signs in my yard. THEN I got a call back from a company salesperson who actually did speak English. I explained my issues, that I'm on the Do Not Call list, and to absolutely stop calling my cell phone.

The company has harassed me day and night with these recorded calls. Someone please prosecute them and put us out of our misery!
