On Sep 27, the buyer contacts us on eBay saying he is interested in one of our diamonds that listed on our eBay Store (Item# 311656654711 8.02ct I-SI2 Ideal Cut Oval Shape AGI 100% Genuine Diamond 15.50x11.11x6.47mm for $55,146.00).

Later on, the buyer asked for more details on the diamond, a video clip of the diamond, a discount. Additional to that he also asked from us to submit a fake invoice (lower amount) so he will pay fewer customs tax and duty. We declined the buyer request to write a different amount on the invoice and explained to him its illegal to do so. However, we send the buyer a video of the diamond and gave him a discount of $4,146.00.

On Sep 30, the buyer accepted the eBay offer of $51,000.

On Oct 5, the buyer sends a Payment of $51,000.00 via PayPal (Transaction ID #27C42389SB805715S).

On Oct 8, we insured the diamond for $51,000.

00 and ship it out the buyer (FedEx tracking #773418827830) along with the original certificate report from AGI laboratories (Report #04MLDT1E4816152).

On Oct 11, the buyer received our package.

On Oct 13, the buyer open case on eBay stating we sent him a fake diamond. eBay put the funds on hold (Case #5182747381 Return Id#5096890226). As eBay seller since 2005 and a 3rd generation in the diamond industry, we never sold fake diamonds.

On Oct 18, we emailed the buyer an insured shipping label and commercial invoice to return the diamond back to us (FedEx tracking #773510782605). The customer chooses not to use our return shipping label and used his own NOT insured label, with no return good documents.

On Oct 30, we received a package from the buyer and when we opened it we were extremely shocked to discover that the buyer sent us a Cubic Zirconia and not our original diamond. And on top of that, we didn't receive the original certificate. We notified eBay about that incident and eBay asked us to provide them with proofs and more details. We also emailed the buyer, saying what he did is UNETHICAL and a CRIMINAL ACT.

On Nov 2, we send the Cubic Zirconia to AGI to have it certified. AGI laboratory examines the stone and determines its a Cubic Zirconia and appraised it for $25 (Report #04MLDT456582174).

On Nov 7, we reported AGI laboratories about that incident and asked to mark on their database and website that our diamond and the certificate was stolen.

On Nov 18, we submitted a report to the Australian Customs and Border Protection stating the buyer kept the diamond he imported and lied about it being exported/ship-back to us and submitted fake documents.

On Nov 21, we file a police report at the Central District Miami Police Department stating the buyer replace a diamond with a cubic zirconia and never return the certificate (Case #1811210088163).

On Nov 30, eBay closed the case to our favor and without any refund to the buyer.
