I have purchased one of Aetertek dog training collars previously. It worked fine for me but the rechargable battery died shortly after 1 season. It's a non replaceable battery.
I purchased another Aetertek dog training collar from 2 weeks ago. The model # is AT-216D. As far as I can tell and from researching other reviews, this model cannot be turned off. This means it will stay on until the battery is depleted. You cannot store this collar away for any extended period of time, the battery will loose charge and never accept charge again.
I have contacted Aetertek twice regarding how to shut this off. It has a magnetic switch. The magnetic switch is not mentioned in the manual, every manual is an older version. I have tried multiple ways to use the magnetic switch and the collar will not shut off. Again I have contacted Aetertek twice and they did not respond.
I looked at the warranty for Aetertek and its 30 days. Perfect I thought, mine is 15 days old, I will return this because of the no shut off and poor customer service. After reading the return policy, its 30 days, "UNWORN". Well my dog has worn it. This makes me un-eligible for a return.
Buyer beware, customer service seems non existant, product seems to have a poor battery and design flaws. Please purchase from another dog training collar company.
This product was purchased through amazon and after the issue i had with my dogs they have done their own research and removed the product from amazon. But can still be purchased by outside sellets not through amazon Everything was great but a little more time has to go into what you guys are selling. This product has been under investigation since 2012 and it is owned by 1 man with many lawsuits against him. Once the us comes up with a name and new item traded under a different name similar to his product he hacks the information and uses it to market his new product stolen from the us makers. Unfortunately my 105lb puppy has a major infection around is entire neck and my 115lb 3yr old has a 2" deep infection around the right side of her neck. All the instructions that were given were abided by but due to the fact of their thick hair we noticed it a little to late. Other than that you guys are pulling the product and looking into the situation about the product
