Adam is the master of bait and switch. He shows off a beautiful apartment with the amenities and then when I paid the rent in cash the following month, he took the money and slam the door. I knocked on his door asking for a receipt and he wouldn't answer. I asked him repeatedly and he would not give me a receipt. I moved his workout equipment that was in front of my front door and put it back on his patio Terrace. I put my table and chairs because that's my space. He threw my chairs over into the courtyard and when I went downstairs to get them and bring him he called the police and told them that I cut his arm with a knife.
They'd probably arrest me and put me in jail for assault. Of course I had to hire an attorney and Adam never showed up for court because he had no Discovery and of course I didn't assault him. I moved out and he told me if I move out within 5 days he would return my deposit of $1,800. Of course I never got that back including my rent of $1,200. Total rip-off. He also had a ladder that went to the window and he went into my apartment at night when I was sleeping. I didn't know why my dog was barking but that's why when I did a walk around at the apartment I saw the ladder up by the window that went into my apartment.
I was a woman living alone with my little dog and he was a disaster of a landlord. There is more and I have all of this still in writing including the lease agreement and the 3 day notice he gave me to move out because I was arrested for the assault. I am open to any class action lawsuits against this guy I'm sure there are many like us out there. Also he had a German Shepherd that was an abused stray that was not trained that jumped on me and he would just walk into my apartment with the dog and I had a little tiny dog in my apartment. This guy has serious mental issues on top of the fact that he's a thief and a liar.
