So What Don and Cherita of ACE TIRE and Auto Ripoff Shop is replying to me all of you who are seeking Auto repair and want to know how shady the business is and how ACE Auto and every other Florida Auto Repair shop treats customers.. They Took the Warranty off the Engine and never gave the Paper work to Barbara Van Wart !
Then told her the Engine had no warranty after the mechanic Vinnie Sabotaged the Engine! You can clearly see the Paper work from LKQ the YELLOW AND MANILLA papers on the ENGINE!! Don and Cherita of ACE now are denying their 12000 mi guarantee of labor and service they did of over $2000 they want us to pay them the cost of a new engine they buy and then another install fee and another new timing belt and fluids all totaling over $5-$6000!!
Don is saying that Barbara and I should have taken the offer that his wife made (she does all the business while he does ??) of them getting the same exact engine from LKQ here in West Palm for 1500$ over the cost of the Engine which was 1800$ which already has 12mo warranty would be jacked up to 2400$ price by the Ace because who is to say how much they paid and then they would install and give the premium oil and timing belt for an additional 1500$ the total being over $5000 tax included and then they are saying that they would cover their work for damages.
For a car whose blue book is 7800 running!! Barbara asked if she could get the engine from LKQ whom I was involved because a close friend and ex VP of Mullinax referred me saving a few bucks for 1800$ and asked Sherita his wife to have the engine delivered to them and that was what we had done! This way it would save a poor 65 yr old retired person 2000$ in added fees / costs for Ace to order and have it shipped because "They do a lot of business with LKQ" The engine looked fine no leaks when it arrived and no visual problems NONE OF THE UNQUALIFIED PROBABLY NON LICENSED USING THE SHOPS LICENSE TO WORK I BET SAID ANYTHING WAS WRONG WHEN THE TESTED IF THEY TESTED THE ENGINE , testing is standard operating procedure or SOP.
Don nor his wife on behalf of ACE Tire said there was any discrepency over LABOR WARRANTY if there was a problem and there needs to be a disclaimer or verbal. Who is to say that ACE Sabotaged the engine after it got there to teach Barbara a lesson that what they say goes..\ There is visible warranty paperwork which was never returned to barbara by Don or Sherita or the Staff at ACE ,, it was thrown away and then Barbara was told after the fact that there was no warranty according to LKQ.. LIES AND FRAUD!!
Once an Auto repair has your car thats it they have the power over all of your lives.. I have seen them half fill oil so you burn your rings and drain some coolant so your car overheats or replace your old plugs with faulty ones .. Who is to know,,, You cant See it..and then you call them and they say bring it in and guess what...SURPRISE its something else that had nothing to do with your original repair.
like oh no its the TURBO leaking ..the engine must be bad.. IT IS REALLY DIFFICULT TO FIND AN AUTO REPAIR ANYWHERE THAT HAS TRUSTWORTHY MECHANICS BECAUSE THEY ARE THERE TO PAD THE BILL JUST LIKE HOSPITALS WHERE ASPIRIN ARE 300$ IN ER!! Which is why I am saying and stand by what I will have to have a Judge decide who is right or you can make it right by giving her an engine rebuild and a working car.
I am going to post every month on here and on my Power User accounts of FB, Twitter , instagram and TicTok till we are satisfied. I am asking you to please make this right before a Legal Dispute which will cost you much much more in lawyer fees.

On June 22, 20115 at approx. 3:25pm, we experienced a loss in power from our vehicle. We pulled into Ace Tire and Auto and was told after a diagnostic test was performed that the #6 cylinder was gone and needed to be replaced. $298.57 later, we THOUGHT the problem was solved until the same problem occurred rendering my vehicle to only travel 35-50mph on the freeway n a 70mph stretch of desert.
Upon arrival in San Antonio, we sought the assistance of BRAKE MASTERS on June 23, 2015 and had to pay for another diagnostic test to determine the cause of my vehicle's loss of power again. It was discovered that cylinder #5 was changed and not #6 as detailed in the professional diagnostic test provided by David Ramirez, the Asst. Manager of The Brake Masters. The repairs cost $157.86.
On June 23, 2015 at approx 8:22am, I spoke to "Tom" who identified himself as the tow truck driver for Ace Tire & Auto. He informed me that the owner was Mr. Brian Craig. Mr. Craig called my phone on June 23, 2015 @ 10:42am, from 760-625-4165, leaving a message regarding my failed vehicle repair attempt. Since then, I have left approx 5 or 6 messages requesting a call back to rectify this issue, which have all gone ignored and not responded to...until this evening, at approx. 6:46pm, Mr. Brian Craig called me, belligerent, using profane language and refused to refund my cost for failing to repair my vehicle. I informed him that I would be filing a complaint and he abruptly hung up the phone.
