Fraud!!

Avoid A1 Janitorial Supply!! The salesman from A1 Janitorial Supply called and said they were offering a free sample to me in an effort to get me to purchase their product. At no time did the sales rep. say that I would be charged. He just wanted me to try it out and see how great it was. Then I received an invoice for $131.26 for the product he said would be free! All you have to do is read the hundreds of complaints listed at the BBB to see what kind of a company they are. They have done this to many people. Please don't get caught in the same scam as so many others. The product is also junk. You can buy the same thing for $20 at a big box store. It doesn't clean well and is a total ripoff.

Phone Scam

Our hotel had received two phone calls from this company offering to sell us Drain Cleaner. The 1st salesman name David Deuce spoke with our maintenance man about this product. My maintenance man advised him he was not allowed to place any orders and do not send him anything. The 2nd sales man called me directly, I'm the hotel manager. His name was Damon Martin. I advised Damon that we did not want any of his product he said he could send us some out free to use for a trial use. I again told him I did not want the product and not to send. I also advised him if he did do so I would not pay a bill for it. In a couple days we receive 2 buckets of this product and a month after that a bill for $133.80 and $131.15. I called the accounting department and they said they would not do anything about the issue and we had to pay them. Of course I am not paying them and these people need to be looked into for fishy business practices.

This company called me to offer me a "free" sample of enzymes to try. He said he would let us try it and if we liked it, he would bill us. Well, imagine my surprise when the bill came in May and the product just arrived today 6/24. Unfortunately, we have a new book keeper and she promptly paid the bill with a check. I called the company to complain and of course it is paid for, so they don't plan on doing anything. I asked the person if she knew her company had an "F" rating with the BBB and that the company was nothing but a scam? I read other complaints and they were all similar. Scam is the only word that comes to mind with scummy companies such as A1. Do not buy anything or allow a "free" sample to be shipped from this company.

These guys call your business and ask who is in charge of ordering supplies. Once they have a name, they send you bogus " POWDERED DRAIN SEWER OPENER " for $499. Then when you call them to return unauthorized products they tell you we can't return it due to liability & chemical hazard laws.

We only order from an approved vendor list from Corporate. These clowns are scam artists and should be in jai.

Biodegradable drain/sewer opener

The part nobody has the time to research is that the product IS NOT considered a hazardous material and is able to be shipped by ground or by air by UPS, so THEY ARE LYING WHEN THEY SAY IT IS NON RETURNABLE due to chemical shipping laws. I called the UPS Hazardous Materials line and, using A1's tracking number, got their actual company name that the product was shipped from called "CMC" in Farmingdale, New York. This stands for Commercial Maintenance Chemical Corp., and the "Sewer Solve" product (a name which conveniently is not on the bucket shipped OR on the invoice) has the MSDS online here: http://www.cmcchemical.com/

Section 14 lists the Transportation regulations, and there are none. You can call UPS Hazardous Materials line to confirm this 800-554-9964.

"A1 Janitorial," which doesn't even have a website, is trying to screw my company over by not letting us return something when we CANCELLED THE ORDER AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE FREE AND SHIPPED IT ANYWAY and is now threatening to send us to collections. I'll be damned if I can't find a return shipping address to send their shitty product to on their UPS customer account, and I certainly won't be paying the invoice.

Scam, Is Right!!!

Horrible company. Got them to stop sending the product, by refusing it. Now 9 months have gone by and they just sent us another shipment. Unfortunately it was not refused do to employee changes.

Now I am fighting with them over the phone to get them to pick up product on their dime. I will definitely not be paying the invoice that will soon be following in the the mail.

Scam!

They send you a 'free sample' of drain cleaner, then they call a month later stating that you were supposed to tell them if you liked it or not or you would be billed - which is bullshit. They didnt mention anything during the call. They say 'we will send you a free sample to try, and if you like it you can buy some, if not, no worries!' - they then invoice you, and persistently harass for payment. 100s of complaints online about this company. If they ever call you, tell them to get bent and hang up.
